I SEE YOUR ENGAGEMENT - ASIA (ISYE-A) is an initiative and joint effort of seven (07) countries under the ICYE federation including Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Nepal, and Vietnam. The project is funded by Japan Foundation.

ISYE-A provides a virtual platform for open dialogue among young people from 7 participating countries during the height of the global COVID-19 pandemic all around the world.

Since its conception from July 2019 up to the present it has gathered more than a hundred young people in Asia as participants to support sustainable community development as well as build mutual understanding and solidarity among Asian youth.

ISYE-A, therefore, enables their understanding of issues, encourages their social action, and gives them a voice, no matter who they are and where they reside. It helps them to develop key competencies and skills. It also positively promotes intergenerational dialogue at the same time.

The project value key principles of global youth work including:
- ENGAGE: socio-civic, economic, and cultural participation through presentations about global influences and impact on youth.
- CONNECT: understanding and appreciation of diversity locally and globally, exchange of learning and experiences, and developing solidarity
- EMPOWER: encouraging young people to take charge of their own lives and build alliances to bring about change.

Details about the program are as below:

1. DATES:
   Saturday and Sunday, November 27th - 28th, 2021 ( 2 full Day programs)
2. TIME:(Plenary session)
   Nepal time (GMT+5.45): 11.15 - 16.15
   India time (GMT+5.30): 11.30 - 16.30
   Indonesia and Vietnam time (GMT+7): 13.00 - 18.00
   Taiwan and Philippines time (GMT+8): 14.00 - 19.00
   Japan time (GMT+9): 13.00 - 20.00
   ※Please contact National Committee in your country for the Offline session.
   For Japanese participants, the details are below in Japanese.

3. ONLINE PLATFORM AND LANGUAGE:
The event will be organized in English (no translation provided), and via ZOOM.

4. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS PER COUNTRY: 05 per country

5. REQUIREMENT OF PARTICIPANTS
- From 18 - 35 years old
- Possess good communicational English
- Have a strong interest in social issues and community development
- Be interested in sharing and learning from international friends
- Commit to joining BOTH sessions on 27th and 28th November 2021
- Have stable internet connection and a smartphone or a computer

【日本語概要】

「I SEE YOUR ENGAGEMENT - ASIA（ISYE-A）アジアにはユースの力が必要だ！７カ国の仲間とアジアの未来会議」は、日本、フィリピン、台湾、インド、インドネシア、ネパール、ベトナムのICYE連盟加盟7カ国が共同で実施するプロジェクトです。このプロジェクトは国際交流基金の助成を受けています。

ISYE-Aは、世界中でCOVID-19が大流行している最中に、参加7カ国の若者たちがオープンに対話するためのプラットフォームを提供します。

2019年7月に発足してから現在まで、アジアの100人以上の若者を参加者として集め、持続可能なコミュニティ開発を支援するとともに、アジアの若者の間で相互理解と連帯感を構築しています。

そのため、ISYE-Aは、彼らが誰であるか、どこに住んでいるかに関わらず、問題を理解し、社会的行動を促し、声をあげることを可能にします。ISYE-Aは、彼らが重要な能力やスキルを身につけるのを助けます。また、同時に世代間の対話も積極的に進めています。

このプロジェクトでは、以下のようなグローバル・ユースワークの鍵となる価値観を大切にしています。
- ENGAGE：社会・市民・経済・文化への参加、世界と若者への影響についてのプレゼンテーションを行う。
- CONNECT：地域や世界の多様性を理解し、評価し、学習や経験を交換し、連帯感を育む。
- EMPOWER : 若者が自らの人生に責任を持ち、変化をもたらすための関係を築くことを支援する。

1. オンライン・プラットフォームと言語
   本プログラムは全て英語で開催されます（翻訳はありません）。また、全日程ZOOMのオンライン会議にて行われます。
   
   
2. 各国の参加者数：1カ国あたり５名
   
   
3. 参加者の条件
   18歳から35歳までの方
   英語でコミュニケーションを取るのが好きで不得意でない方
   社会問題や地域開発に強い関心を持っていること
   国際的な人との交流や国際理解・学習に高い興味/関心があること
   2021年11月27日-28日の両方のセッションに参加できること
   安定したインターネット環境があり、スマートフォンまたはパソコンをお持ちの方
