【TalkENG】ICYEジャパンインターン生と英語で話そ！

TalkENG

TalkENG (homophonic to talking), precisely as the name suggests, is a free, open, and casual space where we talk English with one another. It is target-focused on enhancing communication and self-expression skills expected to boost confidence among volunteers towards their long-term volunteer process.

TalkENG（読み方は「トーキング」）は、名前が示している通り、無料、オープン、かつカジュアルに英語で会話をすることが出来るイベントです。今後長期に渡って海外でボランティアをする予定の方々の、英語でのコミュニケーション、および自己表現スキルを磨くことを目的としています。

Aims of TalkENG　TalkENGの目標

  1. To be more comfortable with English language.
  2. To be able to express freely through situational daily life scenarios 
  3. To get used to English.
  4. To practice and enhance skills in English.
  5. To learn together and create relationships with other participants.

Who can participate?　参加対象は？

TalkENG invites anyone interested to have a chitchat with peers using English together with outgoing volunteers, incoming foreign volunteers to Japan, ICYE co-workers and interns. Hence, it is open to all.

他の参加者と英語で楽しく会話をしたい方であれば誰でもTalkENGに参加することが可能です。海外に行くボランティア、海外から来日するボランティア、ICYEのコーワーカー、インターンシップ生が参加することが出来ます。つまり、誰でも参加可能ということです。

Accessible to anyone, TalkENG offers diverse interactions to help participants get used to various differences in ideas, opinions, beliefs, experiences, or even just the manner of talking and expressing oneself.

誰でも参加可能なTalkENGは様々な対話を通して、参加者が異なるアイディア、意見、価値観、経験、または単に会話の技法や表現方法を学ぶことを助ける場を提供しています。

How can I participate?　参加方法は？

We have provided a fixed Zoom meeting link for all TalkENG events onwards. All you have to do is log in to Zoom on the day of the scheduled TalkENG event you wish to participate in, and wait for our TalkENG facilitator to start the program. So easy right?

今後開催される全てのTalkENGイベントに共通のZoomリンクをあらかじめ設定してあります。参加するには、ご希望のイベントの日時になりましたらZoomリンクをクリックし、開催者側がプログラムを開始するのをお待ちください。簡単でしょ？
